Pop star Lily Allen has parted ways with on/off boyfriend Ed Simons - announcing the split on a social networking website.

The "Smile" singer initially broke up with Chemical Brothers DJ earlier this year, just weeks after she miscarried the couple's baby.

They appeared to have rekindled their love in recent months, after they were spotted enjoying a series of dinner dates and attending U.K. music festival Glastonbury in June.

And while neither star has spoken publicly about their second go at the romance, they offered the strongest hint yet that they had reconciled by admitting to being in a relationship with each other on their Facebook.com profile pages in early July.

However, Britain's "The Sun" newspaper is now reporting that Allen has reverted back to her single status, after updating her profile on Thursday morning.
