star has been repeatedly spotted with Jonze, the ex-husband of Lost In Translation
director Sofia Coppola
, near his Manhattan apartment in recent weeks. The pair first met in 2006 when Williams auditioned for Jonze's film adaptation of the classic children's story Where The Wild Things Are
. She won a role, but later withdrew from the project.
And according to Star
magazine, the couple has now reunited - and struck up a romance. An onlooker tells the publication, "Michelle kissed Spike with a closed mouth on the corner of his lips. There was definitely a bit of caressing going on. She was clutching his arm. The body language was very romantic."
Ledger died from an accidental drug overdose in January.
