Natalie Portman is handing her musician boyfriend Devendra Banhart a career boost, by starring in his new video.

Bearded Banhart will save Portman's princess in the Bollywood spoof, to accompany single Carmensita. The 27-year-old star met Banhart in March and the couple has been virtually inseparable ever since.

An insider recently said of their relationship, "He's funny, scary-smart and in love with her. This is a serious one, and they seem to be in it for the long haul. I've never seen her so in love or connected to somebody. I definitely wouldn't be shocked if he popped the question (of marriage) soon."
