An arrest warrant for troubled rocker Pete Doherty
was withdrawn just hours after it was issued - in an ongoing fight over missed court appearances.
frontman was expected to appear in court in Somerset, England on Thursday to enter a plea after allegedly attacking a female press photographer last summer.
He was charged with criminal damage to Catherine Mead's camera lens following the incident. But after the star failed to show up - his second missed hearing in the case - magistrates in Yeovil, Somerset issued a warrant for his arrest without bail.
However, following intervention from Doherty's lawyers the warrant was withdrawn just a few hours later. A spokesman for the star says, "The matter has been resolved and the warrant has been withdrawn."
