Being Underhanded & Weak Is An Asset On 'I Love Money'

I Love MoneyLet's see if "I Love Money" has what it takes to stay in the reality TV world. Competition based on other popular reality TV shows that encourage humiliation and pain in the contestants? Check. Backstabbing schemers who would sell their soul (if they haven't already) to win? Double check. Scarily smart liars who manage to manipulate everyone else into doing their bidding? Pumkin and Toastee check. Looks like this show is heading in right the direction it needs to go!

In the second episode everyone was settling into their newly appointed teams and getting to know one another. Right from the beginning the Gold team appeared to be much more together and spirited. Don't be fooled, they have two of the most conniving people on their team, it won't last. Rodeo was unanimously voted to be the new team captain, and meanwhile on the Green team Chance volunteered and Destiney was unimpressed with him. She and Heat challenged his authority as the boys stupidly pretended to climb the wall, and Whiteboy ended up voting her as the team captain. Chance passive aggressively accepted it and walked away. The teams talked about their weaknesses and strengths, and got ready for the next challenge.

This challenge was based from a moment in "Flavor of Love 2" when Saphyyri attacked another woman on a bed. The teams would battle one another in the middle of the air hanging over water, and battle one another with giant sticks made of ... flowers? Okay. If the player stepped off the boundary of the bed, that part of the bed would fall and send them sailing into the water. If they lost their stick or held on to the sides, they lost. The captains got to decide who would go against who, and whichever team won got saved from elimination. The losing team would have to choose its three weakest members, and the opposing team captain would get to say who leaves the show.

Whiteboy versus 12 Pack, which looked like a good match up, although Whiteboy had more strategy. He waited for 12 Pack to lose balance and then basically let 12 Pack do his work for him. Point for Green team! The Entertainer went up against Heat, who he wanted to beat because he has a thing for Destiney and she has a thing for Heat. Ahh, love triangles. He does beat Heat after the two hilariously behaved like old men and hack up a lung, struggling just to hit one another. Point for Gold team!

Next was Real and Hoopz, and he had a hard time fighting her because he thinks she is beautiful. His crush made him lose the match, but he was smiling at the end. Point for Gold! Rodeo voted herself up against Chance, and almost ended up strangling herself in the cords. Chance helped save her after he was certain she was eliminated. Point for Green.

So the last match was between Nibblz and Mr. Boston. Oh, Nibblz. You poor, poor woman. Losing to Mr. Boston must be the most embarrassing moment in your life. The Green team won, and Mr. Boston crowed with delight -- he got a massage from Megan and Brandi for the effort, and managed to creep them both out effectively.

The Gold team voted NIbblz, Pumkin, and Toastee as the three weakest links, and Destiny got to decide who goes home. Why wasn't Rodeo on that list? Pumkin and Toastee did not even get a chance to compete, and Rodeo strangled herself! Right, because she's popular. Pumkin was convinced Megan would get Destiney to send her home, so her devious little mind found a way to turn this elimination around on Nibblz. They got to go on a retreat with Destiney and tell her why she should not eliminate them. Pumkin pointed out she should eliminate the strongest of the three of them so she will not have competition later on. Toastee conveniently sprained her ankle so she looked even more pathetic and weak, and Pumkin cried about a nonexistent eating disorder to Destiney's bleeding heart so it would thump louder for her.

It all went exactly to plan, and Nibblz was removed from the competition. She should hopefully take from this that being underhanded and weak is the best way to succeed in the world. Next week, romantic drama abound with the Heat, Entertainer, and Destiney triangle.
