Scottish singer Amy MacDonald is sickened by a stabbing at this weekend's T in the Park festival - and insists youngsters should put down their knives.
The 20 year old rocker, who performed at the festival near Kinross, Scotland, spoke out after a man was knifed on Saturday, leaving him fighting for his life in hospital.
She says, "People come here for a good time, not to get stabbed.
"It is absolutely shocking. It shouldn't have happened. No one should be carrying knives, it is a stupid thing to do.
"It is terrible it happened here because people come to have a good time and enjoy themselves.
"People can sort out problems without resorting to using a knife. It is just a horrible thing to have happened."
The three-day event, which attracts around 80,000 revelers, was this year headlined by rockers REM and dance group The Prodigy.
