Xanadu star Olivia Newton-John has married for the second time in a ceremony at her California home.

The singer/actress married entrepreneur John Easterling in Malibu in front of family and friends. Guests thought they were attending a Fourth of July Independence Day barbecue. And Newton-John was almost forced to cancel the big day when a brush fire broke out in a nearby canyon.

However a source tells British newspaper the Daily Mail: "John said they could wait a few days, or change the venue, but Olivia was determined that nothing was going to interfere with her special day."

In 1993, the star divorced Matt Lattanzi after he reportedly had an affair. In 2005, she was devastated by the disappearance of her boyfriend of nine years, 48-year-old Patrick McDermott. He went missing after going on an overnight fishing trip out of San Pedro, California.
