The HoffDJ Mark Ronson was shocked when David Hasselhoff complimented him on his musical talents and asked to work with him - but was forced to turn down the singer/actor because he was too busy.

The super-producer was left stunned when the former Baywatch star asked him to collaborate on a song when the two met at California's recent Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. But Ronson, who has worked with stars including Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse, had no choice but to refuse Hasselhoff's request.

He says, "He came up and was like, 'Hey, I really love your stuff,' and I was just taken aback. He stayed and watched our show and said that he's got some new TV show and wanted me to produce a song with him. But I'm a bit busy right now!"
