Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora intends to stand by his ex-wife Heather Locklear's side as she seeks treatment for anxiety and depression in rehab.

The Melrose Place actress entered rehab in Arizona earlier this week to seek help to beat her demons after taking heed of doctors' orders to re-evaluate her medical condition at an in-patient treatment facility. The 46-year-old, who was married to Sambora for 12 years, began taking medication for her psychological ailments following their divorce.

And rocker Sambora plans to support the blonde beauty as she aims to overcome her problems to ease the process for their 10-year-old daughter Ava, according to People.com.

A source tells the publication, "Without a doubt, he's there for his daughter and her mother. They may be divorced, but they are raising a little girl they both love very much." And despite being on the road touring with his band Bon Jovi until July, Sambora's pal insists the star will be there for Locklear is she needs him.

The source adds, "I'm sure he's available if Heather should need something and certainly for Ava."
