Hip-hop star Nate Dogg has been released from a Los Angeles jail after posting $50,000 bail following his arrest on Monday morning. The "Area Codes" singer - real name Nathaniel Hale - was pulled over by California Highway Patrol officers after a car chase with his estranged wife.

His unnamed spouse had called emergency services after the star allegedly made death threats against her and followed her "dangerously."

He was taken into police custody on suspicion of making terrorist threats and driving on a suspended licence, but was released from the Twin Towers jail early on Tuesday after paying the bond, reports AllHipHop.com.
