Coldplay still have major plans to release the duet frontman Chris Martin sang with Kylie Minogue, which was cut from the band's new album - when it's finished.

Martin joked that the track, "Life In Technicolor," was axed because it was "too sexy", but now insists the duet was axed because his own vocal efforts on it were disappointing.

The rocker tells USA Today, "Her (Minogue) singing is amazing, and mine isn't so good yet."

Martin plans to keep working on the track and release it as a single some time in 2009.
