Incredible HulkOfficials at the American Medical Association are fuming about the new Incredible Hulk movie because it's riddled with cigar-smoking scenes. William Hurt's Gen. Thaddeus Ross character in the new action blockbuster is seen chomping and puffing on a cigar in almost every scene he features, prompting medics to suggest filmmakers went too far.

The AMA officials point out that in 2003's Hulk film the same character was never spotted with a cigar, and the new film could send the wrong message to teens - the movie's target audience.

In a press release, an AMA spokesman writes, "This is yet another Hollywood film that exposes underage audiences to unnecessary smoking."

Movie insiders and Hulk fans insist Hurt's character is rarely seen without a cigar in the original comic books.

The action film, starring Hurt, Edward Norton, Tim Roth and Liv Tyler, opens Today.
