Stevie WonderSoul legend Stevie Wonder has heaped praise on U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama, insisting he will be a great leader if elected into the White House.

The Superstition hitmaker launched his European tour on Thursday with a question-and-answer session with reporters at the Hard Rock Cafe in London, where he showed his support for the Illinois Senator.

Asked his opinion of Democratic nominee Obama, Wonder said: "He's a combination of JFK, and Martin Luther King (Jr.). With that he can't lose."

The R&B star's European trek continues on September 8 in Birmingham, England and concludes on September 28 in Paris, France.
