Brittany Murphy quit Disney movie Tinker Bell, bosses at the studio claim.

It was reported the actress was ditched from her role providing the voice of the animated fairy, and replaced by 19-year-old Mae Whitman. But Disney executives say Murphy left the project because of scheduling problems.

A representative tells OK! Magazine, "When John Lasseter came on board, the schedule changed, and the new schedule didn't work for her."
