Dr. JohnNew Orleans rocker Dr. John's new album is fueled by his anger for the way the city was ravaged by Hurricane Katrina. The 67-year-old churned out material for The City That Care Forgot (click for review), as soon as he tapped into his emotions surrounding the natural disaster that struck the Gulf Coast in 2005.

He says, "Writing this new batch of songs was way painful. We wrote maybe fives times as many songs as we could have possibly needed, and all them were painful. When you see the way New Orleans was split up and dumped all over the place... and how may people don't have a place to go back to... this stuff really makes me angry. Nothing could have prepared me for that."
