British singer/rapper M.I.A. is set to wed her partner - The Exit singer/guitarist Benjamin Brewer. The star - real name Mathangi Arulpragasam - announced her engagement at her performance at the Edmonton Event Centre in Canada last Tuesday, reports the Edmonton Sun.

Brewer comes from one of Canada's wealthiest families and is the son of Warner Music Group chief executive officer and chairman Edgar Bronfman Jr.

A date for the wedding has yet to be announced.
