Oscar-winning actress Holly Hunter will be honored on Friday with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 50-year-old will unveil her star in a ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard to mark her long career as a movie and TV actress.

Long-term pal Steven Spielberg - who directed Hunter in 1989 movie Always - and his wife Kate Capshaw have paid tribute to the actress, with a full-page ad in Hollywood trade paper Daily Variety that reads, "We are so proud of you and your 'fierce heat of living'."
