Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode" has topped a new list of the best Guitar Songs of all time. The 1958 rock 'n' roll classic beat Jimi Hendrix's "Purple Haze" and "Crossroads" by Cream to claim the number one spot on Rolling Stone magazine's new countdown.

Also making the top 10 is The Kinks' "You Really Got Me," "Brown Sugar" by The Rolling Stones, Van Halen's "Eruption" and Led Zeppelin's rock anthem "Stairway To Heaven."
