the World's Greatest HumanVeteran tough guy Chuck Norris has dropped his lawsuit against a university student who published allegedly damaging remarks about the star in a comedic book.

The Missing in Action star - real name Carlos Ray Norris - filed suit in U.S. District Court in Manhattan against undergraduate student Ian Spector and publisher Penguin Group Inc. last year, after Spector put out a book making fun of Norris' tough-guy persona.

Norris, 68, accused the Brown University student of depicting him as callous and unlawful in original web gimmick-turned-comedic tome, The Truth About Chuck Norris: 400 Facts About the World's Greatest Human. The martial arts star - who claimed the book's content, was built on racist and lewd commentary that tarnished his image - sought unspecified damages, a halt to publication and a recall of books previously sold.

However, he has since changed his mind on Spector's musings - including one entry that claims: "Chuck Norris can impregnate women with only a glance. He can also do this to men."
