Charlie Sheen has invited his ex-wife Denise Richards to sue him over claims she demanded a sample of his sperm.

Sheen and Richards took their bitter ex-marital battle to breakfast TV screens on Wednesday, when they clashed over an email the actress allegedly sent begging for a sperm donation from her ex-husband. Richards denies sending the email to Sheen's fiancée Brooke Mueller, insisting her words were doctored. However, Sheen is so confident Richards did send the email, he has asked her to sue him.

He says, "Her claims that her e-mail has been fabricated or altered in any way to create this story are absurd. The mere fact the she continues to publicly discuss and harass both Brooke and me three years after our separation which, for the record is longer than the actual length of the marriage, is beyond desperate and speaks volumes."

"I will no longer sit back and be egregiously painted as a liar. If any proof can be established that these are not in fact her words and statements verbatim, I openly invite her and would even encourage Ms. Richards to sue me in a court of law."
