Jermaine Jackson is officially single after finalizing his divorce from ex-wife Alejandra on Monday. The couple split in 2004 after nine years of marriage.
Jackson agreed to the divorce settlement, which includes him paying off a $100,000 debt in return for Alejandra waiving all spousal support claims, according TMZ.com. The debt will partly go towards paying for her attorney fees, with the rest being used to bring Jackson, 50, up to date with child support payments.
Jackson will pay $3,000 a month child support for the former couples' children, Jaffar and Jermajesty, and was granted visitation rights to see the children while Alejandra continues to hold physical custody.
Jackson's company, Jermaine Jackson Entertainment, Inc., will remain under his control, as will the former couple's jewelry.
