Late Beatle George Harrison's widow Olivia has created a floral tribute for the legendary musician - by designing a garden in his honor for an English flower show. The garden will feature as part of England's Chelsea Flower Show, and is entitled Life To Life after a line in the Beatles hit "It's All Too Much."
The tribute will depict Harrison's humble beginnings growing up in Liverpool, England to his post-Beatle life of luxury - all through the medium of plants and flowers.
The garden - which is sponsored by Harrison's own Material World Charitable Foundation - is a fitting tribute for the musician who often frequented the Chelsea Flower Show before he died from lung cancer in 2001.
Olivia tells Britain's Radio Times magazine, "Each year we used to go to Chelsea and George would take copious notes and come home with a list of plants he wanted to buy. My hope is that this project will be a tribute to the horticultural side of his personality that relatively few people knew about."
