David Hasselhoff has launched a new legal battle with his ex-wife Pamela Bach - he wants her to pay his $8,400 legal bill.

Hasselhoff filed papers at Los Angeles County Court on Wednesday asking for the sum to be deducted from the $1 million he has been ordered to pay Bach.

He claims the $8,400 represents a lawyer's bill he incurred fighting her over their divorce.

The actor currently pays Bach $21,000 per month in spousal support and $4,000 in child support for their two daughters;Taylor, 18 and Staci, 15.
