On last night's episode of "Supernatural" Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) Winchester were desperately finding a way to get Dean out of his deal.
Bobby handed the boys a case in Milan, Ohio, searching for a Crocotta - a demon that uses a century old phone number to call its victims to "come to him" - whose goal is to get people to commit suicide so he can satisfy his hunger.
The demon uses technology as a way of communicating with people who believe they're getting phone calls from departed loved ones who are making them end their lives.
In a somewhat surprise twist, Dean received a phone call from John, their dead father. When Sam asked what he sounded like, Dean's response was hilarious: "He sounded like Oprah! Dad! He sounded like dad!"
John informed Dean about a way out of his deal, and the demon he needed to go after was in town. Sam didn't believe it was really John and got chewed out by Dean for not believing their dad.
Dean was finally hopeful about something, only to find out Crocotta was behind the phone calls with his "father." Sam's face when Dean told him Ruby said there's no way out of the deal was just as sad. It seems both brothers are loosing hope.
At the end of the episode we finally saw Dean admit that he's terrified and how badly he wants to find a way out of his deal. The best part was Sam trying to reassure him and Dean "no chick flick moments" Winchester teased him for it. How do the brothers show their love? By drinking beer. Boys will be boys.
With just two episodes left of the season, I'm starting to wonder if Dean will get saved this season. I can't see Eric Kripke wrapping things up in just two episodes. Next week's episode looks like it's going to be a great episode.
