Mariah Carey has sparked further speculation she is engaged to Nick Cannon - after wearing a ring he reportedly gave to Selita Ebanks last year. The singer sent gossips into a frenzy earlier this week when she arrived at New York's TriBeCa Film Festival wearing a 12-carat diamond ring on her wedding finger, allegedly from boyfriend Canon.

However, according to a report from an unknown and well-fed celebrity blogger, the ring is identical to the one the 27-year-old gave his former fiancée, Victoria's Secret model Ebanks, when he proposed on a giant video screen in New York's Times Square last May.

A source close to Ebanks tells the blogger, "That is the same ring."
