The Good, The Bad & The QueenDamon Albarn has given hope to fans of his supergroup, The Good, The Bad & The Queen, a week after bandmate Paul Simonon revealed they had split.

Former Clash star Simonon announced the band would perform at last weekends Love Music Hate Racism concert in London, and revealed they had actually split last year.

He said, "Effectively The Good, The Bad & The Queen finished last year, I mean permanently finished, in September."

Blur and Gorillaz frontman Albarn confirms there are no plans to perform or record again - but he insists they will be back.

He says, " I don't really like to say this is this, and that is that. I just think no, it's not the end of these great musicians collaborating together."
