Veteran British actor Terence Stamp has divorced his wife of six years on the grounds of his unreasonable behavior. The Superman star, 69, was granted a 'quickie divorce' from Elizabeth O'Rourke, 33.

Neither Stamp nor O'Rourke was present at the High Court Family Division in London to hear District Judge Redgrave grant a decree nisi on Tuesday.

The couple married on New Year's Eve 2002 after meeting in the mid-1990s in Australia.
