The wannabes are all keen to star alongside the socialite in MTV's new reality show Paris Hilton's My New BFF. Only 20 will make the cut for the program after Hilton fans vote for the best candidates online.

Movie maker and basketball fan Spike Lee trained 18 cameras on Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant during a recent game against Eva Longoria Parker's husband Tony Parker and his San Antonio Spurs for an indepth new film about the hoops hero.

"I Go Crazy" hitmaker Paul Davis has died following a heart attack on Tuesday. The Mississippi native was 60. Davis scored a top 10 U.S. hit in 1977 with "I Go Crazy." His other hits included "Ride 'Em Cowboy" and "Cool Night." He also recorded a handful of country duets with Marie Osmond, including "You're Still New To Me."
