Environmental campaigner Harrison Ford has had his chest waxed in an effort to showcase the pain involved in deforestation.

The Indiana Jones star - who is the vice chair of the global environment group Conservation International - subjected himself to the painful beauty treatment in a bid to raise awareness about the conversion of global forested areas

Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown was a spectator as the event was filmed by Access Hollywood.
