'American Idol' Puts Annie Lennox Back On The Charts
The former Eurythmics singer entered the countdown at number 80 on Thursday with her cover of reggae icon Jimmy Cliff's 1969 song "Many Rivers To Cross," which she performed on American Idol's "Idol Gives Back" telethon earlier this month.
The tune marks Lennox's sixth appearance on the Hot 100 chart as a solo artist, with her last hit "No More 'I Love You's'" reaching number 23 in 1995.
