Spider-Man star Willem Dafoe has urged fans not to believe everything they read about him on the internet - because he's no longer a vegetarian. The actor admits he's often saluted for his meat-free stance, but confesses he's no longer a veggie, despite the fact he's still labeled as such in internet articles and biographies.

He says, "The problem with the internet is information changes and people change."

And Dafoe blames his Italian wife and his lack of commitment for his decision to give up a vegetarian lifestyle.

He explains, "I'm married to an Italian, it's impossible... I guess I wasn't committed enough to the ethical reasons. I'm not a card-carrying member."
