'Dancing With The Stars': If Anyone Can Beat Kristi, It's Jason

April 15th, 2008 9:25am EDT
Kristi YamaguchiAdam Carolla is gone and Julianne is breathing a sigh of relief to finally be done on "Dancing With The Stars." This week we'll be watching the samba and the rumba, with Samantha Harris trying her best to not seem disappointed that her career has taken her here. Hang in there Sam!

Mario and Karina- Samba
Karina seems defeated, and Mario needs an ego boost. They go to meet Stevie Wonder, since his being blind might help Mario do well...it works for Marlee. Will his newfound confidence drive him to the top? Well, so far the promise of this being the sexiest night of dancing has been a lie. Len said the dance suited him and was his best job so far, Bruno said something about Mario's hips and classic moves, Carrie Ann said it was to the point. Samantha actually got a nice question in there about Wonder and how his advice helped Mario.

Priscilla and Louis- Rumba
Priscilla was in the bottom two last week, and perhaps if she upped her personality instead of her "game" people would like her a bit more. She even says that she wants to, at times, strangle Louis. Yeah, I'm sure he feels the same way about her. She breaks out the splits during the first ten seconds of the dance and then spends the rest of the time looking longingly in Louis' eyes. Their slow moves were awkward if you watched their hands, and frankly it was all kind of boring. Bruno said she plays her part well, but her faults are exposed in slower dances. Carrie Ann said Priscilla was thinking too hard, and Len said he was just flat out disappointed, which is why I love Len.

Marissa and Tony- Samba
After actually doing well last week, Marissa gets to, in her words, shake her tushy. Marissa put on a head dress and embarrassed herself a bit, but all in good fun, right? There is a lot of shaking in their dance, which you know Len won't like. Their dance went on far too long without anything happening. Not cool Marissa, not cool. Carrie Ann said she worked it and it was her best routine, she wasn't paying attention. Len liked the mix of moves Tony put in, and Bruno said she was unstoppable.

Cristian and Cheryl- Rumba
Cheryl started off the piece saying Cristian is feminine and that she doesn't seem him as sexy because they're like brother and sister. There is nothing she won't do to get America to like her. All of a sudden we get a stupid skit with them in a movie, sigh. The band was butchering Daniel Beddingfield while Cristian and Cheryl danced their sexiest. What kind of brother and sister are they? Len said they were competent, Bruno liked their chemistry but said they had some problems with their walks, Carrie Ann said the chemistry wasn't there and it wasn't even remotely erotic.

Marlee and Fabian- Samba
Marlee's goal this week is to inspire deaf kids, so they go to Guadalajara, which I'm sure doesn't cut into their practice time. More of the same in the rest of the piece about her deafness holding her back, which again we know is a lie because she is an amazingly hot dancer. They need to have a special report on how she is pulling this off because every week she manages to impress everybody, even if she does mess up a tiny bit. Bruno said it was hot and sexy and inspiring though the timing got off a bit, Carrie Ann pointed out the stumbles but loves her, Len said she does a great job.

Kristi and Mark- Rumba
Gee, will Kristi do well this week? There is a lot of talk about Kristi wanting an alter-ego because she's married and such. Of course, since this is a sexy dance her kids and husband come to visit, which isn't even a bit awkward. Even wearing matching purple costumes they manage to blow away any competition that came before them. Carrie Ann loved it, Len said it was FAB-U-LOUS, Bruno said it was true artistry.

Shannon Elizabeth and Derek- Samba
Aww...c'mon Derek. First you get a neck injury and now food poisoning. I'd lose a leg before missing any time with Shannon. It seems like the two of them are getting along quite well, if you catch my meaning. They've done the only Samba so far with real content in it. Oh, and Shannon is showing lots of skin so she should get bonus points, but she should maybe shake a bit more, the judges seem to like wild shaking. Len said it wasn't good enough, Bruno said she should have shaked more (see!), Carrie Ann liked the ambition but said it was a bit awkward.

Jason and Edyta- Rumba
Well if anyone can beat Kristi it is Jason. Edyta is trying to get Jason to do some of her moves with some hilarious results. Their rumba has more energy in it than the others, not as sexy, but more technical content. How come all the dances end up with everyone on the floor? Bruno says his lines are good, Carrie Ann said the chemistry is insane, Len calls him a bloke who does a great job.

So who are you voting for? I've got a feeling Priscilla is going home, anyone else agree with me?
