Farrah Fawcett & Ryan O'Neal's son has pleaded not guilty to possessing heroin and methamphetamine and driving under the influence. Redmond O'Neal entered his plea at a court in Malibu, California on Friday.

California police pulled the 23-year-old's vehicle over at 3 a.m. on January 26 after allegedly spotting him driving erratically on the Pacific Coast Highway. Cops claim a search of his car unearthed drug paraphernalia.

In 2005, Redmond, who has checked into rehab facilities 12 times in 10 years, escaped a jail sentence after pleading guilty to possession of methamphetamine and cocaine.

He is due back in court on May 29 when a judge will rule if he will stand trial.
