Actress Jennifer Esposito was forced out of her dream home in New York City's East Village district when a homeless peeping tom broke into her apartment. Esposito, who grew up in nearby Brooklyn, moved into her first apartment in the-then crime-ridden neighborhood in the '90s.
But the Crash star feared for her safety when she found out a homeless man, who had just been released from prison, had been spying on her and her roommate - and then broke into their apartment.
Esposito says, "We had a landing outside of our window and we found a man living out there and watching us for about two weeks... One day he tried to get in the building and someone called the cops... He had just been released from a detention facility two weeks prior. So I left the East Village at that point."
