BonoU2 rocker Bono has finally sold his New York apartment for $4.9 million, three years after first putting it on the market. The singer and his wife Ali moved out of the pad on Central Park West in 2005, after upgrading to a $14.9 million home in an apartment block on the same street.

However it has taken him longer to find a buyer to snap up the 16th floor home they paid $3.4 million for in 2001. They finally found a buyer after dropping the price from $5.5 million to $4.9 million, reports the New York Post.
