LeatherheadsGeorge Clooney's Leatherheads took another hit on Monday when the football comedy dropped a place to three on the box office chart. "Leatherheads," which Clooney directs and stars in alongside Renee Zellweger, was estimated to have debuted at number two with weekend takings of $13.5 million.

But the estimates were incorrect, and the $58 million budget "Leatherheads" has now fallen to a disappointing three with confirmed takings of just $12.68 million.

Gambling film 21 remains America's most popular film, with a $15.34 million second weekend take, while Jodie Foster's family movie Nim's Island replaces Leatherheads at two with $13.21 million
