J.K. Rowling Reveals What Really Happened With Draco Malfoy

'Dancing With The Stars' Week 4: Adam Carolla To Be Sent Packing?

April 8th, 2008 9:27am EDT
Dancing With The StarsDancing With The Stars hosts Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris are back to try my patience while nine couples get to dance their way into my heart with the paso doble and the waltz! Shall we begin? Wait. Before we begin, did you know Samantha Harris has a journalism degree from Northwestern where she graduated with honors? So join me in starting a new movement to actually be nice to Samantha. Ok, now we can begin.

Kristi and Mark- Paso doble
Kristi has learned to open up, probably to get three 10s. Will she show passion? They are both incredibly sexy together, so if they can communicate that passion to the audience the judges have to pick up on it as well. Len tells Kristi she can't dance badly, but every dance has a slight sameness to it. Bruno overrides Len, and says she unleashed the harlot (I love that word!) Carrie Ann is trying to show up everyone with her crazy hair and loved Kristi. She's gonna win, I know it.

My Score: 10

Carrie Ann: 10
Len: 9
Bruno: 10
Total of 29

Priscilla and Louis- Waltz
Our favorite psychic business woman is up next. She and Louis make a really unnerving couple, mainly because she acts like his mother and he takes her roller skating. She totally calls out Kristi. A bit cocky, eh? During the dance Louis lifts Priscilla; that's not legal! Bruno tells her to watch her shoulders, Carrie Ann mentions Priscilla's facial expressions, and I about fell off my couch laughing. Plus she mentioned the lift. Len says it looked a bit rush and agreed on the lift.

My Score: 7

Carrie Ann: 7
Len: 7
Bruno: 8
Total of 22

Adam and Julianne- Paso doble
Ah, Adam, offending everyone but me. Julianne needs an award for being able to be with Adam without slapping him, although they don't film everything so we never know. Adam is wearing a Zorro outfit and on a unicycle, and just thinking of what Len is going to say is making me giddy. Julianne doesn't get caught in a lift, maybe Priscilla should take note. Carrie Ann says it was interesting, Len calls him loveable but not much of a dancer, Bruno mentions genius and insanity and says the dancing went down the drain.

My Score:6

Carrie Ann: 6
Len: 7
Bruno: 6
Total of 19

Marlee and Fabian- Waltz
How come Marlee's talker person is a dude? If I was Marlee I'd have Maya Angelou do my voiceovers. Marlee also blames her balance issues on being deaf, which seems a bit weak considering she pretty much kicks ass at dancing. How many times do I need to say her dancing is amazing? Can we assume from now on that I love her most of all. Len loves her, Bruno says she's amazing, and Carrie Ann cried. Take that Kristi!

My Score: 9

Carrie Ann: 8 (What the hell? Nice, Carrie Ann. She made you cry and you docked her for it!)
Len: 8
Bruno: 8
Total of 24

Mario and Karina- Paso doble
Mario is about fighting to win. Maybe he should spend more time dancing with Karina and less time doing other things, allegedly. Much better than last week, and Bruno agrees with me. Carrie Ann liked it as well, but she wasn't crying. Len admires his spirit but mentions Mario only has one dancing style.

My Score: 8

Carrie Ann: 8
Len: 7
Bruno: 9
Total of 24

Jason and Edyta- Waltz
Will Jason bounce back this week? Edyta teaches Jason some chivalry by taking him to Medieval Times, not exactly what I'd call the peak of civilization, but whatever. Jason and Edyta are doing amazingly this week but had a bit of a misstep, so here comes the criticizing judges. Carrie Ann says he has an understated grace, Len calls it a wow of a waltz, and Bruno called the dance erotic.

My Score: 8

Carrie Ann: 10
Len: 9
Bruno: 10
Total of 29

Cristian and Cheryl- Paso doble
Film and tv star Cristian gets yelled at by Cheryl the drill seargent. She takes him to her new dance studio and introduces him to Drew Lachey. Wow that girl has some major stones, allegedly. I am not a fan of either one of them, but they danced pretty well, so I can't fault them for that. Len liked the passion but said the music conquered them, Bruno said he had pride and power, and Carrie Ann said something about his eyes.

My Score: 8

Carrie Ann: 9
Len: 8
Bruno: 9
Total of 26

Shannon and Derek- Waltz
Derek got injured last week, and this better not have a negative impact on Shannon. Replace him with Jonathan, the new go-to guy for replacing the injured dancers. Shannon is concerned about Derek; she is such a nice girl. She is clearly the most beautiful woman on the show and they are doing what is, in my opinion, a true waltz. Easily the most romantic dance this season, like Cinderella and Prince Charming. Oh, and sports, I like sports, and manly stuff. Bruno calls her an elegant class act, Carrie Ann says she's organic, and Len called it the best dance of the night.

My Score: 10

Carrie Ann: 9
Len: 10
Bruno: 9
Total of 28

Marissa and Tony- Paso doble
Tony has made it his goal to make sure Marissa dances an unforgettable paso doble. Marissa is a fighter, so hopefully she'll kick some dancing butt. Way different than last week; I hope she gets to stay. Carrie Ann thought it was fantastic, Len says well done, and Bruno said it was the way to go.

My Score:8

Carrie Ann: 8
Len: 8
Bruno: 8
Total of 24

Well I don't know about you, but I was entertained tonight. Kristi and Mark don't have it in the bag anymore, and I'm predicting Adam goes home tomorrow night. Now if you'll excuse me I'm voting for Shannon.
