Jim Carrey's animated movie Horton Hears A Who! is the world's number one film for a second week.

The family cartoon, in which Carrey voices an elephant, remained the most popular movie outside the U.S. with takings of $11.7 million over the weekend.

French film Bienvenue Chez Les Ch'tis climbs a place back up to two with $7.5 million, while The Spiderwick Chronicles is at three with $7 million.
