Britney Spears' former manager Larry Rudolph has confirmed reports the pair are on speaking terms again. The pop star dismissed the svengali after he joined forces with her parents and staged an intervention to get Spears to enter rehab at the beginning of last year.

But Rudolph has stayed loyal to his former charge - trying to hide from a subpoena that would force him to testify against the Toxic singer, and now he appears to be on his way back. Rudolph reveals he and Spears have recently spent time together and he reports the singer is "doing great."

He tells Us Weekly magazine, "I have spent time with her, and she is on the right path because she has people around her who really care about her well-being. (But) this isn't the time to talk business. This is a time for healing."

Rudolph is considered the brains behind Spears' biggest hits. He managed the pop star for nine years after discovering her when she was a teenager.
