'Beverly Hills, 90210': Where Are They Now?

March 26th, 2008 4:30pm EDT
Beverly Hills, 90210Rob Thomas (Dawson's Creek, Veronica Mars) is helming a "Beverly Hills, 90210" spinoff, which like the original will revolve around a family with two teenagers who move from the Midwest to Beverly Hills. There's no word on whether any of the original cast will appear.

Aaron Spelling sure knew what the public favored when he launched the original series back in 1990. The show aired until 2000, completing 10 seasons.

The show began when twins Brandon (Jason Priestley) and Brenda (Shannen Doherty) Walsh moved from Minnesota to California. After 10 seasons, the series ended with the wedding of high school sweethearts Donna Martin (Tori Spelling) and David Silver (Brian Austin Green).

Beverly Hills, 90210

Here is where some of the major cast members are now:

Jason Priestley (Brandon Walsh): Brandon Walsh was the good looking, typical boy next door who got straight A's, and every mother loved him. Priestley left the series in 1998. He is now starring in a Lifetime series, "Side Order of Life," and became the father of a daughter named Ava in July 2007.

Jason Priestley

Shannen Doherty (Brenda Walsh): Brenda Walsh was the polar opposite of her twin brother: she was wild, daring, rule-breaking and rebellious. Doherty left the show after the fourth season when her character moved to London. She is well known for starring in the hit series "Charmed" alongside Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano. She's also rumored to have been in a few catfights with Paris Hilton due to their mutual past with Rick Salomon. She most recently appeared in the reality show "Breaking Up with Shannen Doherty."

Shannen Doherty

Jennie Garth (Kelly Taylor): Kelly Taylor was the stereotypical popular girl in high school, not only because of her blonde hair and blue eyes but because it seemed like every teen boy in Beverly Hills was madly in love with her. After her 90210 days, Garth starred in the series "What I Like About You" with Amanda Bynes and was most recently seen in ABC's "Dancing With the Stars." Garth is married to Peter Facinelli (star of Can't Hardly Wait with Jennifer Love Hewitt), and they have three children.

Jennie Garth

Tori Spelling (Donna Martin): Donna Martin was America's sweetheart because of her good-hearted nature and innocent, naïve personality. She was the only character on the show that prided herself on abstaining until marriage. Tori has starred in several Lifetime movies, as well as the reality series "Tori & Dean: Inn Love," and recently gave birth to her first child in May with husband Dean McDermott. She is currently pregnant with their second child.

Tori Spelling

Brian Austin Green (David Silver): Music-loving David Silver transformed over the years from an awkward teen to one of the studs of Beverly Hills. He has starred in several lifetime movies, one alongside 90210 co-star Tiffanie-Amber Thiessen, and has a son with another 90210 co-star Vanessa Marcil. Green recently announced his engagement to actress Megan Fox. Most recently, he appeared in "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles."

Brian Austin Green

Luke Perry (Dylan McKay): Dylan McKay was portrayed as the bad boy of Beverly Hills. From his alcohol and drug problems to his money scandals, Dylan just couldn't keep himself out of trouble, but nevertheless the ladies loved him. He left the show for four years and returned in 1998, where he stayed until the series ended. He recently starred in the now-cancelled HBO series "John From Cincinnati" and recently separated from his wife of 10 years. He is also the father of two children.

Luke Perry

Ian Ziering (Steve Sanders): Steve Sanders was your everyday goofy college frat boy who was always getting himself into trouble and trying his best to work the ladies. He stayed on the show for the entire 10 seasons and was recently seen in "Dancing With the Stars."

Ian Ziering

Gabrielle Carteris (Andrea Zuckerman): Andrea Zuckerman was the nerdiest out of the Beverly Hills crew with her overachieving standards and intellectual demeanor. She left the show after the fourth season after moving away with her husband and newborn baby, but she did make a guest appearance on the final season. Carteris has been more of a stay at home than an actress these days, but she did star in the first season of "The Surreal Life."

Gabrielle Carteris

Tiffanie-Amber Thiessen (Valerie Malone): Watch out Beverly Hills, here comes Valerie Malone. Valerie was quite a change from her prior role as perky cheerleader Kelly Kapowski in "Saved By the Bell." She was equal to the female version of Dylan McKay: Hollywood's bad girl who broke all the rules. Thiessen has starred in several Lifetime movies and had roles in the the short-lived "Two Guys and a Girl" and "Fastlane."
