What would you do if you were the sole living person on earth? Brilliant scientist Robert Neville (Will Smith) holes himself up in a Manhattan apartment with his sidekick German Shepherd, making daily forays into the city for food and companionship with mannequins. Sound Cast Away-ish to anyone?

The comparison ends there. Unlike "Cast Away," "I Am Legend," follows the last man on Earth as he struggles to survive while fending off the infected survivors of a devastating vampiric plague.

Somehow immune to the plague that killed millions of people, Neville is desperate to find other survivors who might be out there. He also struggles to find a way to reverse the affects of the virus using his own blood.
