Newly single and wealthy Heather Mills has fueled speculation she plans to move to America, by recruiting celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred to represent her in the U.S. On Monday Mills was awarded $33 million cash and assets worth $15.6 million in a divorce settlement with Paul McCartney.

Allred - who has represented the family of O.J. Simpson's murdered ex-wife Nicole and Britney Spears' ex-bodyguard Tony Barretto - was on hand to issue a statement on behalf of the former model. She tells New York gossip column PageSix.com, "Heather was delighted with the outcome today. It was about justice. Heather was a winner before she met Paul, and she will continue to be a winner. I admire Heather for her charity work."

Mills is rumored to be looking for TV work in the U.S. She has guest-hosted for talk show star Larry King in the past and appeared on Dancing With the Stars last year.
