Rocker Jon Bon Jovi has finally sold his New York home, after dropping $1.5 million from the asking price. The singer has been trying to offload the Upper West Side pad since 2006, when it was offered for $6.9 million.

But it didn't sell until Bon Jovi dropped his expectations and accepted an offer of $5.4 million.

However, he has still managed to make a $3.6 million profit on the condominium - he originally bought it for just $1.85 million in 1998.

Bon Jovi and his family moved out of the pad last June, and currently live in a $24 million penthouse in New York's SoHo district.
