George Clooney has dismissed reports he is to wed his girlfriend Sarah Larson. The Ocean's Eleven star and former waitress Larson were alleged to be planning a summer wedding at Clooney's villa in Lake Como, Italy.

A restaurant worker in Laglio, near Lake Como, fueled rumors on Monday when he told the media: "They haven't made any announcement yet, but there are people in this town who know more than me. They say the couple is already engaged."

Clooney and Larson will celebrate their one-year anniversary this June, but it appears the 46-year-old isn't quite ready to give up his bachelor status just yet. In a statement released to WENN on Monday, he says, "These reports are not true." His representative Stan Rosenfield adds, "(There's) no truth to any element of this story."

The Hollywood heartthrob vowed never to walk down the aisle again after his four-year marriage to actress Talia Balsam ended in divorce in 1993, and he recently admitted he is still against the idea of another union.

He said: "I said those things in 1993 and it has kind of stuck with me ever since. The truth is that it's not a consideration."
