James Belushi is still grieving his brother John, 26 years after he overdosed on drugs. Belushi claims it's impossible for him to get over the zany Animal House star's death, because he meets fans every day who remind him how much his older brother was loved.
The 53-year-old says, "When there's a sudden death in the family, whether it's a car accident or a casualty of war, or a drug overdose, when it's a young person like that, it's like throwing a hand grenade into the family, and the shrapnel goes through everybody. And when it's public, it only makes it worse.
"You could have lost a brother, I could have known you for years, and you might never tell me. But for me, it's everywhere I go. People just say, 'I loved your brother.' And I always go, 'I loved him too.' You just can't hide from it."
Comedian John died in 1982, aged 33.
