Jack Johnson's hit new album Sleep Between The Static is dedicated to his wife's cousin Danny Riley, who died from a brain tumor in October.

The 19-year-old student, a budding songwriter, spent his final months living with the Johnsons in Oahu, Hawaii.

The surf-rocker has since built a shrine to his tragic relative, made of seashells and rocks, in his driveway.
