Country legend Charley Pride's incredible life is set to be made into a Hollywood movie - and the singer is determined to stay alive to enjoy the final product.

The 69-year-old will be portrayed in the forthcoming biopic by actor Terence Howard, and he is hoping the big-screen project will boost his already successful career.

He says, "It took five years to do the Johnny Cash movie and he was gone when it came out. I don't want that to happen to me. I want to tour when it comes out."
