What to Watch: What's Airing, Re-Airing & Entertaining On TV This Week
A Raisin in the Sun (ABC, 8 p.m.) - This adaptation of the classic play stars The Cosby Show's Phylicia Rashad, Private Practice's Audra McDonald, Sean Combs and odd-man out John Stamos.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (FOX, 9 p.m.) - Cameron enrolls in a ballet class taught by Dmitri's sister. This should be a piece of cake for real life ballerina Summer Glau.
Medium (NBC, 10 p.m.) - Cash-strapped Allison's going over to the dark side? Say it isn't so.
Tuesday, Feb. 26
American Idol (FOX, 8 p.m.) - The top 10 guys take the stage.
One Tree Hill (The CW, 9 p.m.) - It's time for some girl bonding Breakfast Club style when Haley, Peyton, Brooke, Mia and Lindsey get trapped in the high school.
The Gates (HBO, 10 p.m.) - This documentary chronicles the installation of The Gates in Central Park, a $20 million project that took artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude 25 years. Fun fact: The Gates can be seen on Everwood in an episode filmed on location in New York.
quarterlife (NBC, 10 p.m.) - If Angela Chase and company were bloggers, they might have turned into the protagonists of this internet series about twenty-somethings from the producers of thirtysomething, My So-Called Life and Once and Again. The show continues in its regular slot Sundays at 9 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 27
American Idol (FOX, 8 p.m.) - It's the ladies' night to prove why you should vote for them.
America's Next Top Model (The CW, 8 p.m.) - New judge Paulina Porizkova promises to bring back the frankness of Janice Dickinson's days as a judge.
Project Runway (Bravo, 10 p.m.) - The final four take their collections to Fashion Week.
Men In Trees (ABC, 10 p.m.) - The congenial rom-com series is back to fill the void while everyone else is scrambling to make new episodes.
Thursday, Feb. 28
American Idol (FOX, 8 p.m.) - The sixteen contestants are dwindled down to twelve.
Lost (ABC, 9 p.m.) - Tonight's Desmond-heavy episode lists true love Penny (Sonya Walger) as a guest star. This continues Walger's (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Tell Me You Love Me) campaign to at least guest star on every show on TV.
Eli Stone (ABC, 10 p.m.) - Eli's maybe ex-girlfriend, Taylor, joins Daddy's law firm, which is also Eli's workplace. One word: Awkward.
Friday, Feb. 20
Degrassi: The Next Generation (The N, 8 p.m.) - First Allison on Medium and now Marco. Desperate for cash, Marco does something drastic and if it's what I think it is, then damn.
Saturday, March 1
Saturday Night Light (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) - She may not be an Oscar winner, but Ellen Page is still hosting SNL.
Sunday, March 2
Oprah's Big Give (ABC, 9 p.m.) - I think the free pack of Big Give tissues that came with my TV Guide were a hint of what's to come.
Unhitched (FOX, 9:30 p.m.) - The Farrelly brothers' first foray into producing a sitcom follows a group of unmarried friends. The Office's winning Rashida Jones co-stars.
