Mr. T Will Never Cut Off His Mohawk
The tough guy - real name Laurence Tureaud - insists his haircut was the main reason he shot to fame as B.A. Baracus in the 1980s TV series The A-Team.
He says, "I got the mohawk back in 1979 when I first became famous. A lot of producers said, 'Mr. T, you'll get a lot more acting jobs if you shave it off.' But I turned around and said, 'If I changed my hair, I wouldn't be who I am.' You see Frank Sinatra sang my song 'My Way.' I'm not wishy washy. I ain't changing with no styles."
