Actress Robin Wright Penn has turned to ex-boyfriend Jason Patric as she struggles to cope with her split from husband Sean Penn. The actress and Julia Roberts' one-time boyfriend Patric dated briefly in the late 1980s before Wright-Penn met her husband - and now the Lost Boys star is back in her life.

Sources tell Star magazine the two 41-year-olds speak via phone daily and have enjoyed each other's company over dinner many times since Wright-Penn split from Penn last month.

One insider tells the publication, "He (Patric) has always had a soft spot for Robin."
